Description: Fast Food Day is an opportunity for our Little Sprouts preschoolers and ACA students to enjoy a lunch from one of the fast food restaurants as selected by our school. It is optional and there is a cost to purchase a lunch, which will be billed through FACTS. It's a great opportunity for parents as well as students to have a break from packing their lunch.

Note: Parents can place orders for Fast Food Day through our FACTS Management application by signing into ParentsWeb from their desktop and/or laptop computer.

Once you are in ParentsWeb, please go to Student >Select Lunch > Select Create Web Order at the Top Left Corner of Screen (enter the total amount of orders you are requesting in the appropriate field)> Select Order Items

Description:  Friday Knight Lights (FKL) is a social event for our Rhetoric students of ACA.  It's a time for food, games, and fellowship.

Note:  There is a small fee charged at these students' social events to offset cost for food/drinks.  Parents will be asked to pay at the time they drop off their child(ren).  Please contact Kaity Materne, Athletic Director regarding questions about FKL and other important details.

MON (DEC 9TH):
-Rhetoric Final Exams for Elective classes will be at the following classes/days/times:
  • Rhetoric Elective Finals for Mon/Thurs Elective classes will be during those normal class times for that Elective
  • Rhetoric Athletics I Final will be during weight room at 3:00-3:30 PM
TUES (DEC 10TH):
-Rhetoric students will take Elective Finals for Tuesday classes, during their normal class time of electives
-Logic & Rhetoric will have an adjusted class schedule on this day due to the Christmas Program scheduled for Thursday, Dec 12th and the class periods will go as followed:
  • Period 1   8:30-9:20 AM
  • Period 2   9:20-10:15 AM

+Rhetoric Students will go to Main Event (Address: 2601 Presidio Vista Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76177) from 12:30-3:30 PM.  Parents, please let Heather Bundy know by Dec 9th, if your Rhetoric student WILL NOT BE attending this offsite student event. Cost to attend will approximately be between $20-$30 for food and games.  Students will be returning to school by dismissal time to ensure they have time to get ready for the Christmas Program for that evening.

Christmas Spirit Week daily attire to wear per day:  

MON THEME (DEC 9TH): 

Christmas Colors Day (please see what colors to wear on this day based on your House Team affiliation)

  • House of Ten Boom-Silver
  • House of Lewis-Red
  • House of Moody-Blue

*The goal is to dress head to toe in your House assigned Christmas color

TUES THEME (DEC 10TH):  

Candy Cane Day
*This day is for celebrating the candy cane with the colors red and white--Be CREATIVE!

THURS THEME (DEC 12TH):  

Twas the Night Before Christmas Pajama Day
*Wear your favorite PJ's. Please remember this is also the same day of the Christmas Program.

Dress Requirements/Restrictions:  
  • Shorts, skirts, dresses, etc. must be NO more than 4" from the knee
  • Please refrain from wearing the following:  low necks, tank or spaghetti straps, midriffs showing, please only wear appropriate themes as specified on the respective days. PLEASE REMEMBER MODESTY IS KEY!
SPECIAL NOTES:  
  • Please remember  you can always inquire from Coach Kaity or Mrs. Bundy regarding questions you may have during Christmas Spirit Week

Description: Prayer, Breakfast, and Jesus (PB&J) is a prayer ministry of Little Sprouts and ACA. It's a time to come together each month to pray for our school, families, teachers, and staff.

The mission of PB&J is to embody the commands of Philippians 4:6 in the development of intercessory prayer warriors, while also focusing on the teaching and the understanding of God's word.

It promotes fellowship, faith and a commitment to praying fervently, thus establishing an effective front line defense for our school, staff, student body and parents.

Description:  The Christmas Program is an annual event for our Little Sprouts and ACA families to come together and watch our Little Sprouts and ACA students worship through song and  performing arts as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.  

Time:  6:30 PM (NOTE:  ACA Students to arrive at 6 PM & Little Sprouts to arrive at 6:10 PM)

Location:  The Hills (6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX 76180 ) 

Grades:  All Little Sprouts & ACA grades

Attire:  Sunday's Best with Christmas colors (red, green, black, white, blue, accents of gold and silver).  Students will need to be in dress jeans or slacks, dresses, skirts, sweaters, collared shirts, etc.  Students will also still need to adhere to our modesty policies of no midriffs, no strapless or spaghetti straps without a sweater over it, which must remain on, no holes in their pants, nothing more than 4" above the knee, etc.

-Logic students will have a slightly adjusted class schedule on this day during their Lunch (12:30 PM) and Bible (2:00 PM) class times as they will participate in Intramural events during those times.

-Rhetoric Final Exams for the following classes/times will be:
  • Math*   8:30-10:30 AM
  • Foreign Language*   10:30 AM-12:30 PM

*Final exams includes students currently taking Algebra I or higher Math classes as well as includes students in Spanish I or Latin I that are in 8th grade

  • It will also be the day for our Little Sprouts (ones through threes classes) and Grammar (PreK through 4th grade) schools' Christmas class parties.  Please see email from your child(ren's) respective teacher and/or Homeroom Mom regarding volunteer opportunities, sign up lists, and other important party details.  Also note, there will be a book exchange during party times.  The book needs to be gender neutral and no more than $5.
  • Logic & Rhetoric students will have special activities planned for them on this day in lieu of individual classroom Christmas parties.  Heather Bundy, Dean of Ministry & Student Affairs, will send an email to Logic & Rhetoric parents regarding a sign up to send treats for their special Christmas celebration.  Please be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Bundy.  Also note, there WILL NOT BE a gift exchange this year for our Logic and Rhetoric students as they will partake in food and fun games.

Description Spirit Week: Christmas Spirit Week is a fun way to engage our Little Sprouts and ACA students as well as celebrate the Christmas season. Each day students will have the opportunity to show their Christmas spirit in various ways as specified by the school.

Christmas Spirit Week daily attire to wear per day: 

MON THEME (DEC 16TH):

Snow Day
*Get CREATIVE!  Dress according to what Snow Day means to you!!

TUES THEME (DEC 17TH):

Little Sprouts through ACA Grammar School (LS-1's-3's classes, ACA-Pre-K - 4th):

  • Wear Christmas T-Shirts
*All sweaters/t-shirts may be fun (and tacky for the sweaters), however; appropriately themed for our campus.

ACA Logic through Rhetoric (grades: 5th-12th)
  • Wear Ugly Christmas Sweaters
*All sweaters/t-shirts may be fun (and tacky for the sweaters), however; appropriately themed for our campus.  

Dress Requirements/Restrictions:
  • Shorts, skirts, dresses, etc. must be NO more than 4" from the knee
  • Please refrain from wearing the following: low necks, tank or spaghetti straps, midriffs showing, please only wear appropriate themes as specified on the respective day
SPECIAL NOTES:
  • Please remember you can always inquire from Coach Kaity or Mrs. Bundy regarding questions you may have during Christmas Spirit Week
  • Please wear your regular school uniform, IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PARTICIPATE AS YOU MUST BE IN REGULAR ACA UNIFORM, which includes both tops and bottoms.
  • Students who attend Enrichment Academy (Wednesdays) and Friday classes will come to school in their regular uniform attire during Christmas Spirit Week.
