March 20, 2020

Dear ACA & Little Sprouts Staff and Families,

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for your flexibility and perseverance to remain ANCHORED through one of the most interesting dynamics we have ever experienced. We are humbled and honored to work with such an amazing team of believers: educators & families who truly glorify the Lord!

Yesterday, the Governor announced mandated school closures until after April 3rd, and we know that may be extended from there, so we will plan in hopes of an April 6th re-open date at the earliest.

Beginning tomorrow, you will be receiving an email about your student's classes for the week. We have created the following documents 1) our detailed plan for Remote Learning and Communication 2) a pdf of Spring Events that have been rescheduled or canceled. Both are uploaded to the school resources.

Finally, tomorrow we will send an encouraging charge through a video update from our Board Chairman and Acting Head Administrator, Stephen Engel.

YOU can do this and WE can do this together! Let's glorify Him through this together and be eager to join together again...

“I yearn to come and be face-to-face with you and get to know you. For I long to impart to you some spiritual gift that will empower you to stand strong in your faith. Now, this means that when we come together and are side by side, something wonderful will be released. We can expect to be co-encouraged and co-comforted by each other’s faith!” Romans‬ ‭1:11-12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Sincerely,

Alliance Christian Academy & Little Sprouts Leadership Team

March 13, 2020

Dear ACA & Little Sprouts Families,

Alliance Christian Academy – Little Sprouts will be extending spring break by a week in order to follow with the recommendation of the Tarrant County Health Department. We will be sending more correspondence following our plan of action for the following weeks as we implement the next steps as needed. We anticipate the week of March 23 to include some digital instruction practices as we reevaluate based on the latest information. This closure will affect any other planned extracurricular activities. Apart from email, we will try to consolidate information as much as possible so that it is accessible and up-to-date, utilizing FACTS/RenWeb for classroom teachers rather than multiple emails.

Thank you for your help in this process and we covet your prayer over it all. Below you'll find the update that was sent out yesterday. (Parents of Logic and Rhetoric Students: this email was not sent to students. Please share the details at your discretion as developmentally appropriate so they have the information needed.)

We take community health and safety very seriously and we are continuing to monitor the ever-changing landscape of the spread of the COVID-19 virus
(Coronavirus).

Safety of our families and staff are our highest priority, therefore, we are continuing to monitor other school
districts in the area, as well as updates from Tarrant County Public Health Department and the Center for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Our leadership team will be convening to discuss the best course of safety for our families. We will take in to
account our school dynamics and determinations made by other school districts in our area. As the
Coronavirus continues to spread, please continue to check your email for any changes that may occur prior to
returning from Spring Break.

We recognize that flu season is still upon us and the fact that families have traveled outside of our area for
spring break. With these facts in mind, we want to encourage you to adhere to recommendations from the
CDC.

The CDC recommends the seasonal flu vaccine; taking flu antivirals, if prescribed; and taking every day
preventative actions to stop the spread of germs, including the following:

Avoid close contact with people who are sick; Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care;

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;

Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash;

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe; and Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 6 percent alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty. People who think they may have been exposed to Coronavirus should contact their healthcare provider immediately and please email our school. Please be sure to follow all guidelines determined by your healthcare provider. If you or a family member have tested positive for the coronavirus, please email us immediately.
